A reminder that in 2022, President Biden signed the “Eliminating Limits to Justice for Child Sex Abuse Victims Act,” eliminating the statute of limitations to file civil action for federal sex offenses. Seems relevant.

But no credit for working was given at school. I earned money but failed out of regular high school. Self esteem and access to opportunities were things I had to fight for.

I worked until 10pm on school nights and 1 am on weekends when I was 14. My grades were awful but that wasn't the only reason. It gave me better access to money for myself for things I wouldn't have had otherwise.
