It's great that we're promoting electric cars, but if we're not addressing the hurdles involved with purchasing one, we're wasting our time. Consider this: not everyone is in a position to buy a car less than 10 years old. This is an upfront cost that a lot of people can't afford.
People live outside of cities. I'm all for people owning electric cars, but the expectation that everybody buy one when unaddressed hurdles exist isn't going to solve anything.
