ICE Pretends It’s a Military Force. Its Tactics Would Get Real Soldiers Killed WIRED asked an active military officer to break down immigration enforcement actions in Minneapolis and elsewhere.

“Given that training for ICE officers has dropped down to about 6.5 weeks, TV/movies might be their biggest source of knowledge. It demonstrates that agents aren’t moving with tactical focus; they’re doing what they think will look cool and intimidating in photos.”

GoFundMe Ignores Own Rules by Hosting a Legal-Defense Fund for the ICE Agent Who Killed Renee Good The fundraiser for the ICE agent in the Renee Good killing has stayed online in seeming breach of GoFundMe’s own terms of service, prompting questions about selective enforcement.

NEW: GoFundMe strictly bans fundraisers for “the legal defense of financial and violent crimes,” yet is currently running one “to help pay for any legal services” for the ICE agent who killed Renee Nicole Good. Its conflict is not even the least bit contestable.

I would think there is fear that they could be denied work visas and green cards for the players. It is so easy to become a target of Trump and homeland security. The fascist system counts on a chilling effect to keep people and businesses in line.

One arrested after attempted firebomb at Minneapolis ice cream shop Fletcher’s Ice Cream & Cafe was damaged after someone threw Molotov cocktails at the window twice, less than 24 hours apart. Police have arrested a suspect.
