Later down the chain the acorn hatched a grub and someone did a painting that was like the Virgin Mary and baby Jesus. But with a grub. It was beautiful.

I’m still alive, haha. Got hit with one of the longest arm pain flareups in June/July, then got costochondritis, probably due to my dad being in and out of hospital since August, and then just when things were looking up, I broke my arm. Had to get surgery and am still recovering. Shaky thumbs up

His silly little strut

Answering that question made me realise I forgot to share these! I tried oil painting for the first time last year; these are my 2nd and 3rd paintings. The 1st one was a boring and janky still life, so I left it out. 3rd one is also technically incomplete, I missed a spot before I photographed it.

3) If you count school, I did art until Year 9 I think? Before we chose classes for O-levels, at which point I dropped it. Outside of school, I’ve done one Chinese calligraphy class and a photography workshop. I’d like to take a watercolour or oil painting class someday.

2) For as long as I can remember. According to my mum, about since I was 4 or 5 years old.

1) I prefer sketching traditionally but lining and colouring digitally. A lot of the time, I need the physicality of a pencil sketch to get a piece going.

That struggle of posting art online.

Another feral-ish Gold, but this one's from last week or so. I got possessed to paint him quickly; it's fun to draw him in this state. He's in control of his faculties, not "feral" in the sense of losing it. Just visibly more feral.
