decent poly-count, what I love about using this method is I don't really need to retopo after. drawback is I can't really do fine detailing like when you sculpt models like this.

I love how the bottom fish looks so goofy with the false eyes on the dorsal fin

Modelling the Alien fish for Madana 2.0 was fun and done in a couple of hours, from sketch to texturing in Substance Painter.

They're not perfect, but I'm happy at how goofy they look, modelling more animals later.

Sometimes I prefer my worlds to do the storytelling, there's no lore or explanation on what this place is or why it is the way it is, why large stone hands dot the landscapes in either gestures of supplication when facing up, or gestures of sheltering when facing down.
