Blue skies with puffy white clouds and floating words saying: Monday March 2nd BIRTHDAY STREAM 8 pm CET / 7 pm GMT / 2 pm EST twitch.tv/max_mantic
Doing a special birthday stream on Monday, March 2nd at 8 PM CET / 7 PM GMT / 2 PM EST
It's gonna be wacky and fun and gonna play a lot of games with a twist so hop on by and say hi and don't forget to bring a fork!
Happy Birthday! ๐๐๐
Friendly familiars!
Lots of hugs and hope you feel better soon! ๐
Yeah Gall Force is all kinds of sad and emotional and was also often on TV here in Serbia so I was thinking all that talk of aliens and sacrifices for their friends might be onto something. ๐
It's always a magical feeling when you manage to find something from olden times, glad you found it!
Hahah yeah, no problem! Take a look at some lists like this, might be helpful as well anilist.co/search/anime...
I've been looking at all sorts of 80s and 90s anime in the past couple of years and downloading what I find interesting so I took a look at some stuff I have and maybe Good Morning Althea sounds like it might be it?
Try Gall Force, or maybe Dragon's Heaven?
It's beautiful!
Rummaging through some X-Men comics and found this page where Angel falls from the sky into an old lady's backyard and wakes up, revealing his young Conan O'Brien face.
She's art ๐
Oooh, I wonder if these cards were an inspiration for some of the character art in The Lords of Midnight.
I hate that it's so fitting, and also for me it makes me tone deaf after a while, makes me forget what my intentions even were and it just derails the whole thing into listening to random sounds.
Brian Fargo posting a high-res scan of the original 35mm slide of 1988's Neuromancer game cover got me searching the artist, Darrel Anderson, who's been a pioneer in digital art since the Atari ST days and it looks like he's done a few iterations on his self-portrait before the famous box cover.
Oh shush, all of that bling bling wouldn't amount to much if you weren't such a lovely person that sparks joy in others just by being yourself.
I'm glad I could be of some use even for a little bit just to help and show how wonderful you can be 'coz you're pretty alright yourself. ๐
You've come so far (a different room) and done so much (playing old games) and still got all the cats around so that's impressive!
I'm really happy for and proud of all you've achieved and that you're still around, doing new things, being your beautiful, wonderful self! You're awesome! ๐
That's a fantastic find, thanks so much for replying and posting the page! ๐
Thanks and absolutely, will do!
Oooh that is super interesting! I never took a close look at the cabinet art and always assumed it was custom drawn for the game so I don't know but I might take a look. Thanks for mentioning this and posting your findings!
There is something really fitting in watching the new mess of a Return to Silent Hill movie and realizing that a lot of it was filmed in Serbia and seeing the Military Medical Academy building in Belgrade as a stand in for Brookhaven Hospital, reaffirming that I've lived in Silent Hill my whole life
Gotta keep praying for those pointless achievements and upgrades. ๐
I know it's more common these days to see environments and themes from closer to my neck of the woods but it still cool for me to see villages, architecture and types of religious iconography that's not present in games a lot.
Oooh you mean Indika? It's a wild experience but pretty unique, like playing a Russian surrealist movie.
Happy you're enjoying your time and making music and always glad to see you whenever! ๐
Have you ever thought you might like some of my art on your wall? That's nice. Now you can!๐

Aw heck yeck these are all amazing! ๐๐
I didn't recognize his face but the moment he started doing his rehearsal line in his serious, gravely voice, I was like "oh shit!", paused the episode and did the DiCaprio pointing meme.
Seeing (and hearing) Simon Templeman, the voice of Kain from Soul Reaver, in Wonder Man was a particularly nice treat. It's a minor role but always a pleasure to hear him do that crispy thespian delivery.
@videogamebeach.bsky.social and her starter pack of cool videogames accounts is great - bsky.app/starter-pack..., though full disclosure my low poly profile is in there.
It ain't a promotion, just thought you might like some of those pages.
Love your DJ sets and CC commentary btw!
