De positie van vrouwen in het hoger onderwijs is dit jaar opnieuw verbeterd. Het aandeel vrouwelijke hoogleraren groeit tot bijna 29 procent. Ook staat voor iedere mannelijke emeritus-docent direct een vrouw klaar staat.
