In my 40s now. My great grandparents came over through Ellis island before WW1. If it was their parents, it would be ~ 1880 thats fifth gen. So only people whose family was completely in the country before 1880 to be safe Hmm, how many people is that? It must be at least 10 and some Native Americans
I keep seeing it framed as “Americans believe they pay for tariffs” not “Studies from JPMorgan and the Fed show that Americans pay more than 90% of tariffs”.
Just say the facts. Every study done by any reputable source show that Americans pay the vast majority of tariffs.

The MLB has an issue. People are willing to pay a premium to watch their home team’s games ($80/month -youtube.tv cost) and the MLB literally cannot let people just pay them to watch all their favorite team’s games atm. Just take the gobs of cash! 20 mi from San Francisco is too rural, I guess.

I did this same research 2 yrs back. I settled on a 14 plus. I use my phone for videos/ tv shows, internet and communications. Pro/max models offer better processors and cameras - those are for games and high end videos/pictures.
The bigger screen was great but past that unused. 16 plus imo

Our inability to recall (at the state level) our US Senators and Representatives is a distinct oversight in our Constitution. I feel like PA would lke a chance to send a new Senator. NY might have some issues there as well. We would have public healthcare by now...among many things.

Let's be clear. Bovino leaving MN is not enough. ICE leaving MN is not enough. Convictions for ICE officers involved in the two murders is not enough. At this point, allowing any kind of regroup and redeploy is just waiting for more murders. It's not about appeasement. Shut down the government.
It's the whole government at this point. Shutting it down is is the only way to uphold our rights. The question now is whether our Dem senators will stand by their oaths until we can figure out a solution.
We have all witnessed 2 clear murders by federal agents in MN. The government needs to close until there is a way forward that protects our rights and our lives. It is a moral stance. It is not about money anymore. Dems swore an oath. What is the government without our rights and laws?
In case Democrats were wondering why everyone was so pissed off when they caved on funding bills 4 mo ago. A government shutdown is preferable to this. It is not a swing of the pendulum. It will get worse. "It is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government."
I think you fooled me with Chromebook project. I had an old one for presentations in my classroom that my son could not borrow for school. Chrome had expired. So no Clever apps. But I was able to repurpose an even older laptop with Mint for his schoolwork.
Check your local school district for expired ones. This would be the main reason chrome "expires" on them. Otherwise school districts would never replace them. When chrome expires, so does access to a lot of educational software in the Clever suite.

There is almost certainly stock market manipulation going on from Trump creating successive random crises. Our recession recovery t-bills are slowly being depleted as a resource. Think back to 2008 Helocs, it happened slowly then all at once. And no one will be bailing us out with t-bills.
