This drawing was done from one of the photos a client sent for a portrait commission. The client decided to use another photo for the portrait, but I loved the expression on this one so much I did a small 5x7 sketch as a bonus portrait.

Maine artist painting 67 lighthouses this year After the death of his wife, Dominic White quit his day job and is focusing on his art for a full year.

I’m finally able to post this portrait as it is now in the hands of the recipient. It was commissioned by two sisters in Seattle as a birthday present to their mom. It was a lot of fun to paint.
