Not the only issue, but the plaintiff in this case appears to have relied on some fake judgments due to use of AI π
All the withdrawn notes are here. A medal of King George V in profile is on the Bradbury signed notes of 1917 and Brittania appears on some notes. The Bank website has the Queen on a Β£1 note from 1960

Do I have friends who specialize in the War of the Roses?
I like the idea of wildlife on bank notes, but tbf I think it's less important than the fact Farage wanted the UK to bomb Iran.
I read that too. Bigger population, more eyes, more clicks.
Badenoch and Farage are in a mess over Iran because there was an opportunity to 'own the libs' and they took it unthinkingly.
It's all about owning the libs.

Have been saying this since Johnson in 2019. If you look at pretty much *everything* from then on, it was government by trolling, and now opposition by trolling. Every statement or action was to wind up the 'sensible middle'. Then everything they did and do makes sense. That's their only principle.
I thought I would have a read about this!
Hello!
I am a fool who is not in a union who is seeking a person who knows workplace uniony stuff.
Obviously Iβm not looking to be repped - just asking on the off chance thereβs somebody out there who might be willing to talk or offer some advice. Iβd be really grateful. Thank you x
Looking down this thread everybody has a much more fertile imagination than meπ³

For the British Republicans out there.
We are a country of light and (very) dark animal stories: Black Beauty (a harder read than many will recall); Wind in the Willows and Beatrix Potter; Watership Down and Plague Dogs (gulp); Tarka (by a fascist) and Animal Farm (by an anti-Fascist); Kes.
I think we can cope with animals on banknotes.
No.
Should be compulsoryπ
We have a local craft baker making these.
Homemade cheesecake Easter eggs, Β£4 each π€
Chocolate Easter egg shell, layered with a buttery biscuit base, smooth & creamy cheesecake filling, a swirl of fresh cream, topped with choc pieces & finished with melted chocolate
Should be illegal? Yes or no?
They are the people who would least like Churchil to be disrespected.
Fans are shallow, so it's not a good fit for those people. They went through deeply traumatic times with him as their leader, and that sticks.
As I said here, it's more complicated than being a fan.

I don't find that strange at all.

I can add that my grandparents voted Churchill out in 1946, but it didn't translate that it was fine to disrespect anybody who had been involved in WW2. They may not have liked everything about him, but they credited him with victory.
I thought it was likely that his grandchildren were 2 years old.
If your parents were adults in 1940 in London, Sussex, Kent, Hampshire, Dorset or Devon, they would have had stories about being bombed. There's a lot of physical archaeology of this if you know where to look. A lot of the old wartime entertainers moved out to Sussex too. It's in the local culture.
I'm talking anout Baby Boomers mostly.
to a real voter and none of them are as passionate about the art on notes as they are making out either.
Personally I like the idea of wildlife on the notes, but I can see why Davey is doing this. It's a good point that some rural areas might be anti-badger and some older voters eyes will glaze over the minute anybody criticises Churchill.
None of the people piling onto tgos thread will have to speak
Well fine.
This is peak Bluesky, as others have already said.
If we had AV then triangulation would be unnecessary.
The point is whether or not the LDs will be the alternative to Reform, since neither the Tories or Labour want to be.
They're looking at the Tory vote (who may well not like Badenoch).
The LDs could easily be the alternative to Reform in that constituency.
