When mamas and papas was still in existence, I bought my sister a floor play mat/interactive station, I don't recall what the name was but it was welcomed. It had things hanging off it, and there were sounds

A narrow dirt path runs straight through a towering redwood forest, lined on both sides by simple wooden X-frame barriers, with sunlight filtering through the bright green canopy far overhead.ββββββββββββββββ

A closeup of a tabby cat, Joe, lying on the edge of a desk. His chin is cocked and his eyes are slit. His polydactyl paws are crossed in front of him. At first glance he looks serious, but he was being brushed, and he loves being brushed. He doesnβt even mind having his claws trimmed if Iβm being honest. #CatsOfBlueSky
Daring me to trim his claws.

An orange kitten lies on the hoodie covered seat of a bicycle, looking away from the photographer in disappointment.
Got home from a trivia night and was promptly told off. Sheβs not mad, just disappointed.
Yes, allowing a person time to breathe, but also debriefs should be for the person doing the event, and not for the leader alone - don't offer an immediate debrief if intense emotions aren't welcome

What a little honey!
Did you have anything planned for this evening? Not minimising, just I usually try to plan something after medical appointments.
The name wants to mock you?! That's rather unfair.
I remember I saw the pharmacist before discharge, who had packed me so many meds to take home I needed a large carrier bag, along the lines of this drug does this, but if that drug works too well, this other drug stops it doing it
I know. I think I would feel very similar if it was me. I would feel it was inconsiderate, rude, and I would probably use lots of "expressive" language when back in the corridor if I found out when there
Yes, you don't need this x
Hope eye appointment goes well. Bad dreams suck.
Fishtopher, a classic brown tabby cat with green eyes, laying on a large white comforter. His body is compact and curled up, but his head is slightly lifted up and looking at the camera. His ears point outward slightly, giving off a bit of an annoyed expression at being woken up.

1. Haven't heard back from the job application, but I've started down the path of something meaningful. There's also the group I would like to start (but)
2. Lemon curd-filled hot cross buns & reduced cheddar cheese mash.
3. Thought Hostage documentary was interesting but imperfect.
Cheers
Really nice! Can you lay down/curl up on it? I never had a sofa before I won mine, and it's an absolute game changer for my M.E.
Hope it goes smoothly. My thoughts are with you x
Despite trying to groom BubBub and Babbie, we could still make and sell ethical cat hair jumpers, the really expensive ones from gathered hair.
Sending you kindness and softness
You are very blessed to have harmonious cats who lay near each other! Love the rainbow blanket
I hope all my lovely people have a day that treats you with kindness and gentleness.
If life is difficult right now, or if you have upcoming medical interventions, I'm thinking of you.
Saw this about the imroc podcast and thought it may be interesting

I do feel it needs witnesses, however it does feel overwhelming for me. Unlike refugees and migrants in my family, I've never experienced rapid, longterm movement and conflict in my home country, so I both have no direct lived experience but a good deal of vicarious trauma
What a delight! Not the same, but when I was preparing for my gallstones operation I wasn't allowed a takeaway. Basically any food that very temporarily cheered me up. (I won't detail what happens when you have a takeaway afterwards!)
Hope the colonoscopy goes as smoothly as possible
I believe so unless local councillors are useful, or if damage is caused as a consequence of antisocial behaviour by neighbours. I know they vary how helpful they are, but some Shelter offices have drop-in clinics. Alternatively, do you have an ACORN union branch near you?
Does anyone know how @charlrwalker.bsky.social is? Haven't seen her around recently
