Also, some users might want to avoid Proton (mail, drive, VPN) since their CEO has been publicly praising Trump. I was a customer myself and I canceled my subscription because of this. I believe kMail from Infomaniak (as well as Drive) is a good alternative (also Swiss made and with green hosting)

It's using Brave Search technology so the results are independent from Microsoft (unlike DDG, Qwant, Ecosia).
