I think it’s the pompous attitude that makes it the worst. Like it’s not really wrong because the system is broken. The problem is acting like the commenter pointing out the ways something is illegal is dumb/nonproductive while believing you’re above them for capitulating in advance.
One of my biggest online pet peeves is when someone brings up how Trump’s actions are illegal and then some asshole comes in and says “it doesn’t matter because nobody will be held accountable, you don’t get it.”
Quite possibly the least valuable comment you can make.
To the people that are all too happy about the NY AG Steam lawsuit saying that all the people against it are Valve stans.

I've seen people celebrating this but, if I'm reading it right, the labels and distributors are the ones putting the tags on, and there's no real enforcement mechanism to it all. Not confident in it.
