lrt: funny because one of the most common requests i get regarding tls is "hey can you switch us back to TLS 1.2 because one of our connections broke"

it is kind of funny because i *do* have bad ideas about https, mostly that forcing tls1.3 is unfortunate and unnecessary in almost all cases. for banking, sure, for some random website, no. and unfortunately that move did kill off a good amount of old hardware that simply no longer works
