Short and sweet, a wee bit janky with the pacing, but I tried.

I just wanted to write touch adverse Soap. As someone who also touch adverse, concerts and crowded places are hell.

It just became the system. For once in John's life he didn’t have to be anxious about being touched or like a broken omega who couldn't be touched. It was the fix of the century. Simon couldn't be prouder of himself.

They went to the concert just like that. John barely got touched by any strangers and Simon got to impose himself all over his omega. Win Win.

Eventually this became such a routine that Simon was dragged to everything to protect John from being touched. Bars, shopping, that book store that's too -

For all intents and purposes, John was gone. Swallowed in the mass the was Simon.

"Is this ok?" Simon asked, wrapping his arms around John and resting his head on his shoulder to look at him.

John was still for a while, face blank. But then he began to purr, soft and low, but it was still there-

to say. He looked skeptical.

Pressures on.

Simon put his plate on the coffee table, next to where John put his. He pulled John into his lap, who went willingly if not a bit confused. He pressed them back to front and slouched a bit so Simon was even covering the sides of John's arms. -

If he was being honest, he was actually really nervous about what he was about to propose to the omega. He had been thinking about it for a while, some way to prevent people from touching what's his.

"And how would ye do that?" John had abandoned his crisps in favor of whatever Simon was about -

replacing it with a plate of sandwich and crisps. John began to eat happily as Simon continued the discussion.

"I'd go to make sure no one touches you. So you can go and enjoy that awful band in peace." Simon took a big bite of his food, looking slightly away from John as he did. -

"I still don't know if am even goin'," John looked back down at the screen and began biting his thumb. "And why would ye even come to not listen to a band?"

Simon huffed and took the phone from his hand -

"What if I went with you?" Simon spoke from where he was in the kitchen. Quietly putting together sandwiches while John sat on the couch staring at that damned ticket page again.

"What? Ye hate these guys," John took his eyes off the screen long enough to meet Simon's as he made his way into -

It was his worst nightmare.

But the band. He may never get another chance.

John stared at the 'purchase ticket' screen for what felt like hours. Opening and closing and reopening. Still just deciding if it was worth it.

To say Simon had had enough would be an understatement. -

obsessed with this band since he was 15 and has always wanted to go to one of their shows. They're from America and rarely travel outside of it. He wants to go so bad.

But he knows this venue. Been to it once even. It was crowded and everyone kept bumping into him the whole night. -

This wouldn't be the end of the world if John didn't live in crowded London and wasn't being invited to concerts and bars all the time.

Normally, when he knew the event would be too crowded, he'd just say no. But this time was different.
