it's kind of a cluster, but I'm going home in a little while and hopefully that will help me feel better... no one seems concerned about my lungs (I didn't even get an RT consult, which I think is weird). Pain is outrageous though😬

i'm still in the hospital because my knee replacement surgery didn't go as smoothly as hoped... something kind of funny just happened: I called to order my dinner and the food lady said, "am I speaking to the patient? because you sound like a nurse"😜 Yes, I am the patient & a nurse😂😆😂

and when they extubated me I aspirated some fluid, so they are keeping an eye on my lungs...
and I may need to stay an extra night for pain control...
but other than that, all is well😬🙄😭

My knee replacement surgery went pretty well - it was the before & after stuff that could've been better...
they couldn't get the spinal block in, so I had to have general anesthesia;
no spinal block means WAY more pain post-operatively (so I'm on a gigantic boatload of meds)...
