Can AI Kill the Venture Capitalist? VCs are betting that artificial intelligence will disrupt nearly every industry in the world. Are they prepared for it to disrupt their own?

What a shame it would be if they happened to kill each other.

How on earth can we continue with a World Cup hosted by a nation that is at war with other parts of the world?

That UK government as a whole has not yet recovered from 2016 is simultaneously trite and still the most important explainer of UK politics - a toxic brew of dishonesty, insularity, secrecy, naivety, and boosterism that this government failed to tackle when it could in 2024.

I started gardening in the sun yesterday. The fog came down so quickly that I had to use the extension lead to find the house.

It really is something to see politicians, commentators and media outlets whose whole identity is based on being so-called β€˜patriots’ frothing with excitement as they line up to back a deranged megalomaniac who consistently attempts to belittle and bully the country they claim to love

I truly believe that children are struggling and we need to to go back to slow schooling. Sitting on the grass listening to stories, not cramming so much into the curriculum. We are teaching more and more things but in my class they seem to retain less and less.

Either they didn’t think about the effect of the invasion on oil and gas prices or they did and didn’t care. I wrote a paper once distinguishing malice, recklessness, negligence, and incompetence. Sometimes you get them all at once.

His voice was the voice of my childhood along with Brian Cant and Tony Hart. Gentle softly spoken men showing that children don’t need shouting at from the TV and lots of entertainment is now too loud and fast for small children. Sensory overload is causing stressed children in my view.

The fire at Glasgow central station is utterly devastating. Shops, homes and our transport link to England are being wiped out.
I am amazed by the limited news coverage.

Most Americans can be fired from their job without cause, at any time, and our health care is tied to our employment.

This fact alone is enough to feel dread and panic every day.

I thought the best person to talk to Laura Kuenssberg about the important moral and ethical issues of the day would be Robert Jenrick, the man who overruled a planning decision to save a billionaire pornographer Β£45m in exchange for a Β£12,000 donation.

If Oakshott does pop back to the UK for a flying visit, I do hope our media don't fawn all over her asking for details of her experience, oh what am I thinking, of course they will. We'll need a supply of sick bags handy.
