The 2025 Anders Jahre Award for Young Researchers was awarded to Thomas McWilliams for his work on mitophagy. Our ARCTiC member Arja Løchen from Simonsen group wrote a blog post about it.

During the day, we also hosted our Rising Star seminar, where Mariya Milkova Licheva presented her recent Nature Cell Biology paper "Phase Separation of Initiation Hubs on Cargo: A Trigger Switch for Selective Autophagy."

Yesterday, we gathered at the beautiful Holmen Fjordhotell for the ARCTiC Annual Symposium. It was a fantastic day in which we heard about the projects from our scientists in ARCTiC, and we were fortunate to hear two keynote lectures from @jimhurley.bsky.social and @idikic.bsky.social.
