folks I don't think regular shipments of oil and gas are going to be happening any time soon
These people were openly plotting to manufacture false pretenses to undermine federal law and overthrow the constitutional order. Clark, the ringleader, was already under indictment for conspiring to overturn the 2020 election.
And then we just . . . put them in power again.
It's all there. All of the bullshit claims about emergencies and national security threats. The goal all along was to give Trump the power to deploy the military domestically to suppress dissent and crush MAGA's enemies.
These are dangerous people. They're now in the highest levels of government.
The Phoenix New Times has long been known for its hard-hitting investigative reporting, notably about former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and Warren Jeffs and the FLDS church
The Pentagon says of the 140 injured, 108 have returned to duty and 8 were severely injured.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt was just asked about this story and she said she doesn’t have the exact number but “it’s in that ballpark.”
More like manipulating them.
Newsmaker episode coming up at 4p ET as I’ll talk about the economic impact of Trump’s war with @pkrugman.bsky.social and former Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo… plus friend of the show @lawyeroyer.com - see you soon on Substack and later on YouTube.
Ukraine shouldn’t be doing this.
Leavitt ticks through the new anti-trans provisions in the SAVE America Act without explaining why in the heck they're in a "voting bill" in the first place
Scoop: DHS ousted multiple privacy officers at CBP after they questioned orders to purposely mislabel records about government surveillance to prevent their release under FOIA.
We are calling on ICE to immediately release journalist Estefany Rodriguez, who has covered immigration, including ICE actions, for the Spanish-language news site Nashville Noticias.

I would too.
The WSJ editorial board seems to think the Iranians are just now figuring out their Hormuz leverage. They’ve been planning this for a decade.

This was debunked by the military via Fox’s Jennifer Griffin.
I asked the White House for comment and they asked me for my deadline. (At their earliest convenience!)
Lets see what they say, folks!

Square format in bold painterly acrylics on canvas. Yellow and orange large leaves float over your head in the foreground against a background of tall straight black trunks and green foliage of evergreen trees with some blue sky peeping through on the right and in even smaller gaps in the top left corner. Above is a canopy of smaller yellow leaves with darker yellow leaves behind them and in between are some small twisted branches of almost black, whereas the large leaves in the foreground have no obvious branches connecting them so appear to float. The ground is a small glimpse of deep orange. Signed bottom left in light blue, Liam Daly
A #painting from a couple of years back. "Golden Leaves V" was started many years ago when I had a studio in an old cobbled stableyard, and a few acres of woods led down to the River Liffey so I would happily lose and find myself in them all the time. And who wouldn't? #art #SpeirGhorm
Wright posted they’d escorted an oil tanker which was a lie. He has since deleted it.
This comes from the ongoing ACLU/CASA lawsuit against DHS seeking to stop warrantless immigration arrests in DC.
A judge issued an injunction banning those arrests. But they want it enforced, claiming ICE has been ignoring it. Hearing is tomorrow:

As I was being handcuffed, I asked the Spanish-speaking ICE officer what crime I had committed that led to my arrest, and he responded that I am a criminal because I am in the country illegally. I responded that if I am deported to Mexico, I will invite the officer to my home to eat carne asada. One of the other officers who did not speak Spanish said in English, “Oh, you want to make me into carne asada?” Because I understand some English, I told the officer, no, that is not what I said, and the Spanish-speaking officer did not correct him. I insisted that the English-speaking officer misheard me and was incorrectly stating what I had said.
Here's one of the more ridiculous ICE incidents I've run across:
A Mexican man was arrested by agents while waiting at a NE bus stop. He told them he'd serve them carne asada if he was deported there and they visited...but they claim he threatened to *turn them* into carne asada
Probably already does.
🤦♀️
Students have more power than politicians want to admit.
Your rent is here. Your tuition is here. Your vote should be here too.
Early voting in Chicago has already started. Don’t sit this one out.
Ugh. Another antivaxxer in HHS.
