I think the Berlin stuff tastes curryish, it's just mostly ketchupy deliciousness! British curry sauce is a thinner non-tomato based thing, tastes like curry and salt & sugar hehe. btw... I'm with you on the mayo. Droolworthy.

It is the best, but alas hard to find in the US. Common in the UK and sometimes in Berlin with currywurst 😋 You can make your own with Bisto, but it tastes better coming from a chip shop. Now I'm craving potatoes!

The tragic anecdotes were quite effective in persuading MPs who have no medical experience. This will save money for NHS, but it's a textbook example of failure of root cause analysis and poor decision making as policy. What a tragedy for patients, who deserve better.

Two words... Palliative Care. Also, Hospice. If a person has a life expectancy of </=6 months, these are excellent options. CADD pumps and multimodal pain control ARE effective. Suffering and requests for euthanasia reflect inadequate treatment. Prima non nocere.

I suppose there are 2 issues here, 1 being PE purchases of "non-profit" hosps/employedbMD practices which make $$$ for the PE shareholders but destroy/close the hospitals (US-specific) vs MDs going to concierge/"private" practice, which I understand but it's unethical. Period.
