A tax barrister sued me personally for Β£8m for libel after we linked him to a tax avoidance scheme.
Today the High Court struck out the claim, granted summary judgment, and ruled it was a SLAPP. The judgment is highly critical.

Lefty, music lover and humanist. A would be marathon runner. Old enough to remember when twitter was a good place! Just to be clear, if it's crypto, men / women looking for fun or religion, you are following the wrong guy, don't waste your time.

In Reform UK we like to offer value for money, which is why we are spending all day on a gimmick intended to satisfy the people we care most about β the donors with links to fossil fuels and climate change denial who gave us Β£2.3m.
WATCH: Nigel Farage and Robert Jenrick change fuel prices in Buxton at a Reform UK petrol station They have pledged to reinstate the 5p fuel duty cut in their first Budget
Farage and Jenrick pull a stunt in Buxton in protest at the fuel prices which are going up - on account of a war they both back - started by a man Farage flew thousands of miles to "have dinner with" only for said man to decide he was busy.
So much dignity going on.
100% this!
Still making stuff for the 1970s!
Both Badenoch & Farage are busily denying they ever supported UK military action in Iran.. yet
Only 5 days ago Badenoch posted βDefensive action is simply not enoughβ
1 week ago Farage βfuriouslyβerupted over Starmerβs refusal to engage in attacks saying he was βfrankly patheticβ

GREAT NEWS!
A special task force of elderly bald men, smelling of chives and armed with small penises, has arrived to liberate Dubai from the Iranian onslaught!

At the most basic level of 'have some self-respect', Conservative MPs should not put forward someone who visibly is not intellectually equipped to be prime minister as their candidate to be prime minister.
Rhetoric framing minoritised communities as an existential threat - and falsely framing this as genocide - is notoriously dangerous.

Ukraine 2022: "America, please close the skies"
America 2026: "Ukraine, please close the skies"
This very straight news piece buried deep within the FT never uses words like corruption or insider dealing but every detail is quietly devastating. Why is the FT virtually alone in the UK media in covering this important story?
By coming together on 28 March, weβll finally move the dial on racism in this country.
Will you help us?
@dawnbutlerbrent.bsky.social
The Iran war should be a lesson for Keir Starmer's Government. If you take a clear line on an issue where the public agree with you then it's your opponents who end up having to back down, not you

Reform UK on the warΒ -
9 March, Robert Jenrick: βthis war needs to come to an end as soon as possibleβ¦.thatβsΒ why Nigel Farage immediately ruled out suggestions that UK might deploy boots on the ground. Nor do we see why British aircraft should become involved in offensive action.β Daily Telegraph
Don't even mention 9/11!
I think Gaza and Ukraine prove that civilian infrastructure is already " fair game " in war.

Nigel Farage is not on your side - he wants to charge you to access the NHS. We won't let that happen.

Some personal news: Iβm transitioning from CEO to a new role as Blueskyβs Chief Innovation Officer! Iβm excited to welcome @toni.bsky.team as our interim CEO.

Crude oil prices, showing a very sharp increase in the last day, from around 65 to 101 dollars per barrel..
Oil prices wouldn't be all over the news today if more of our economy was powered by local, secure renewable energy.
This isn't an "energy crisis". It's a fossil fuel crisis.
44% of UK electricity came from renewables in 2025. More of that plus an electrified economy => no more oil shocks.
A Reform government will display Union flags on everything, right up until we replace them when we become the 51st state of America.
Once upon a time he was their βmonster of delusionββ¦

These papers are a disgrace.

Declaring "Mission Accomplished" - that always works out well for US Presidents
The United Kingdom, our once Great Ally, maybe the Greatest of them all, is finally giving serious thought to sending two aircraft carriers to the Middle East. That's OK, Prime Minister Starmer, we don't need them any longer -- But we will remember. We don't need people that join Wars after we've already won! President DONALD J. TRUMP
History lesson.
Our once great ally didn't come to our aid until 1917.
Our once great ally didn't come to our aid again until 1941.
"I said it's quite bold of Nigel Farage to go to the US to side with Donald Trump against his own country. What did I say Roy?"
"You said he's a treacherous self-serving sack of shit"
