What utterly grim reading.
What utterly grim reading.
Holy crap, Jacob.
This is so basic. You canβt deny that AI is a great tool. But product is the responsibility of the people using the AI, not the AI itself. This is an organisational/workflow problem with people who are too lazy or too thick to do it right.
Itβs only a tool, use it right or youβre a tool.
Thatβs a vile experience. I did just fine but feel like I need to disinfect myself. Ugh.
Post of the day πππ
Moudhy really knows how to lend perspective.
Our intent is to learn how to write this way naturally, however weβll pump the whole lot into an LLM for review.
Lastly about those tech tech docs. The LLM can write them and weβll review.
We have decided on a tone to adopt and are refining a comprehensive style guide. Weβll then pass all copy through that guide, with options for that copy being editorial, blog posts, tech documentation or social media posts. Each will differ in tone. π§΅2
This is a really interesting one. If I were writing a book (be glad that I never will), Iβd reject the idea of LLM editing outright.
But my next professional task is to write a ton of copy for a website as Immy business partner and launch a business. π§΅1
Yep
When I was an investment banker I did derivatives that were side deals to big securitisations. So I got to work with whoever was running that deal. By heck it was always better when o e of the women was doing that job. Absolute fecking night and day better.
I left when it was obvious that I wasnβt seeing relevant posts. Mine also lost what their slight traction, which is a shame from a business perspective.
I want to see whatβs happening first hand now and itβs unfortunate that I canβt. Thereβs no point returning because Iβll get deluged with idiocy.
@jay.bsky.team, weβre living through times that future historians will pore over. The toxicity of X will be studied. BlueSky being an alternative likewise. Your name will get attached to this. Think on that and be proud.
Jeez. I left Twitter and wonβt go back. When it was good it was very good. Itβs a shame this place hasnβt yet managed to replicate that. I hope this changes.
Given that itβs already VC financed with the last round in 2024, I doubt they will. If they do Iβll revisit this post and showing all my moral courage, Iβll delete it.
They long since raised $23m from VC. Letβs not write it off yet. Twitter was VC backed too while it was good. What went wrong was Musk, not eg VC finance.
Absent external money this thing wouldnβt be here now.

Good on you. Great job getting it to this point.
Total mensch
For a non tech guy (Iβm boldly assuming), youβve struck on a super description here. Iβll have to steal it for future presentations.
That sounds like an office I used the work in.
Ideally yes. If z-index remains necessary, have a containing element declare βisolation: isolate;β, so you keep the z-index challenges local and isolated (hence the name).
Also AI isnβt very good at witty alt text.
Neither am I but thatβs not the point here.
FOR THE LOVE OF GODβ¦
Can we STOP with this βspecial relationshipβ BS
And alsoβ¦can we wake up to the treachery of our right wing press?!

Quite, Dmitry

Predictably here we go. War involving Israel, irrespective of whoβs at fault make it a bad time to be Jewish.
Iβm so disappointed in him.
