I've door knocked for a very small handful of politicians in my life. @anitaanandmp.bsky.social was one. Her story inspired me at the time and I continue to be proud of her work as a MP. I'm not surprised she isn't seeking re-election because she has more to contribute outside politics

Linking to substacks is banned on r/Canada "not high enough credibly". PressProgress has been also been a blacklisted domain on r/Canada for a while. They consider it an "advocacy group". DM if you want to talk more I unfortunately have quite a bit of reddit experience (100k+ karma in r/Canada)
Yeah I think we can safely say a lot of the world was still preoccupied with covid in 2022. Which would lead 2023 to be about "recovery" and by 2024 people didn't see the recovery they were hoping for is the most logical flow I can think of

OLP lost two straight majority elections to someone they would consider a buffoon, have no coherent identity, and don't even have official party status.
Crombie: "I thought this would be easier"
OLP chose wrong and are doomed. It is what it is

Moving majority of shipping trucks to 407 was part of the Ontario Green's 2022 platform. Thought it was smart then, still think it's a good idea even if implemented by Ford. Steal good ideas your opposition parties have!

Not the worst guess but BailΓ£o still outperformed expectations. Glad Chow brought it home, hoping for a solid four years π€
Anyone want to try predicting the top 3 results of the Toronto mayoral race with me for fun? Here's my guess #topoli #cdnpoli (is that a thing here?)
1. Chow 36%
2. BailΓ£o 28%
3. Saunders 11%
