Four is forever the worst Scream…as someone who experienced the OG trilogy…give me any of the later sequels over that mess.
I know I have a rewatch on Saturday (in IMAX) and Tuesday in 4DX and I’m sure these rankings could change … but it’s still a fucking Scream movie…is ghost face slicing and dicing people? Sign me the fuck up!

But I also had a great flippin time getting to hang with Gale and Sid again. Are the teenagers expendable … sure. Even more so in this than 5 & 6. Did I miss Melissa and Jenna… sure. Did they shoehorn Chad and Mindy into the plot. Yes. It still achieved what Halloween 40 wanted to do in one film.

I’ll agree that it should’ve ended with the final shot of 3 cause it was a glorious ending … but even a not great Scream is better than many other franchises bests. I found it to be a great tribute for the 30th anniversary of the first one and a way better remake than 4 was attempting.
