I really like the simplicity of this one!
I really like the simplicity of this one!
Yes, that happened to me too! I've noticed I fall asleep super easy now as well.
It was totally not me complaining before that "I have no time to read".
In january I've made the decision to leave my phone in another room when I go to bed and suddenly I have a 38 day reading streak, with 6 books read so far...π
I'm so happy to hear that my illustrations made you read the books.β€οΈ β€οΈ β€οΈ Thank you!
That said I do have drawings that I don't post because it's not finished and I should take my own advice, be braver and just post sketches. π Maybe I manage to do that this year.π
I totally get that feeling. But not everything needs to be in color and finished, if the feeling comes across. And that's probably why we do art in the first place. To share our feelings and love for something with others.
If you are a slow artist., I don't know what I am. π« (At least for drawings outside of work, haha.) It's actually motivating to see you draw so much fantastic personal art this year!

I think it would be super cool if I could get the verified badge on #Vgen before the new year so I am offering these little chibi commissions to hopefully get to that goal!

πππ I didn't even think of that part! I actually never "heard" a spicy book before maybe that's why he has that hushed voice. π
I checked the preview and your description of a fruity squire whispering is spot on.π
Haha! I haven't actually test listened yet to see if i like the voice or not, maybe i would.
I'm not In the US and I don't believe it will be in the libraries in my area unfortunately. I'm also not really an audio book listener, because I'm so picky with how people read aloud.π But if it's not finding a new publisher I might have to go for the audiobook anyway.
Apparently it's not available for now due to publisher bankruptcy, so I start with another rec "The Queen's Thief", because I did want to read something historical inspired again after I've finished Vicious by Schwab (which was more in the urban fantasy genre).
Apparently the publisher went bankrupt (wrote rudieroo above), so we have to wait until a new publisher for the book is found.
Oh that's a shame, I wondered if it might have been something like that. :( I look for it in the future then.
I wanted to start reading one of the recommendations from you guys "The scottish boy" but I can't find the ebook anywhere to buy??π It's not that old of a book, I'm confused...
For animation I actually want to try callipeg! It looks much better to me than P.-dreams. But yeah they will definitely be all different experiences.
Yeah apple is so overpriced honestly. π
I'm a photoshop user and I don't want to get fresco, which means I would have to get used to something new anyways, so that is okay. I would probably go with clipstudio or procreate (if it's the Ipad i go for).
Yup that's true! I had an old Ipad once but it was the one with the pen that you had to plug in with their usb connector and it stopped connecting at all at some point so I never actually got to draw much on it, back then. But it seems the side charging is much better on the newer ipads.
The "use it as a cintiq" feature is not really important to me, but I can see how it would be for newer artists. I own an old cintiq, but haven't used it in years because of posture. My shoulder are much happier with my intous. π
Gosh maybe i do need to write it down, thinking over the pros and cons in my head is not working haha. I'm always so indecisive with expensive tech. Thank you for sharing your opinion!
I don't think I will use it for actual prof. finished work (I'm still too used to Photoshop for that). Maybe sketching for work though. My plan is animating and drawing away from my PC, as in I want something mobile. But the ipad seems to have an extra keyboard which seems good to have.
Yeah that is one of the reasons I looked at the wacom, the drawing feeling is supposed to be better there. But then there seem to be less apps on android. hhmhmhmh....
I'm thinking about getting a tablet to draw in bed in the evenings, but I can't decide if I should try the wacom moveink 14 or the ipad pro π... Does anyone have any experience with either/both?
Totally not ME.ππ
I feel you. π’ That's why I began to only take on work that I got the manuscript for, bc it makes it so much harder to come up with really cool covers for the book, when you don't get to read it.
Thank you!π₯Ίβ€οΈ
