- he sat back down he balanced the guitar on his thigh and settled his fingers on the strings. “Here’s the musical piece.” He tapped his thumb against the wood for a moment before beginning to strum the strings, playing the upbeat melody he had been practicing.

Sebastian’s words cut through the awkwardness in the air, settling inside of him and making his stomach clench. The band was important to him and he hoped it was just as important to his band mates, his friends. Yeah he could be upset but how important was it for him to express it in comparison -
