On 8 March, we celebrate International Women’s Day! 💜

At the Trans-formations project, we are convinced that women play a crucial role in society and that it is imperative to denounce patriarchal systems.

Our team is mainly composed of women researchers!

📢 Hello, everyone!

Today we wanted to share with you a quote by Jack Halberstam. The prefix trans* help us rethink about gender embodiment. In _Trans*: A Quick and Quirky Account of Gender Variability_ (2018), Halberstam analyzes the trans* body and its place in our current times.

📢 Hello, everyone!

Today we wanted to share with you a quote from Sara Ahmed's “What’s the Use: On The Uses of Use” (2019). Thinking through queer uses, says Ahmed, opens up new questions about how alternative uses can unsettle norms and generate new possibilities.
