Quite possibly these were illegal unregulated vapes as well, these sort of shops are notorious for them.
Obviously not just vapes, we get all sorts of fires from cheap illegal imports of things, we had those hoverboards blowing up all over the place a few years back.
But we could have had this years ago if the Tories had pulled their finger out when they were told to repeatedly...

The lack of regulation of the vape market for so long has been ridiculous. But those fancy shop displays are going to vanish overnight once the law properly comes in.
The tobacco and vapes bill, which will bring that in, has its third reading in the Lords today, so will probably become law this week or next... a shame it took for long to finally bring in proper vape regulation thanks to the Tories dragging their heels for years despite being told to.

Means that Challenge- one of Sky's own channels- is in the wrong frame rate through their own platform because it's only SD, and I have to go back to Freeview to watch.
Surely it wouldn't take much effort for them to change things so that SD is decoded to 50fps as well?
Brookside being stuck at 25p is incredibly frustrating. Supposedly it (and the content they have from other streamers) is in 50fps if you have Sky Q and download it through their systems, though I've never had access to it to be able to check.
