Retired but still working at EnrollmentVP. Hot takes and amateur photography. Bad speller. I blame the nuns at Nativity School. Google me to find me; I'm the only one on the planet with this name.
Perfect.
Renfer sounds like a kid who got caught cheating on his final exam and keeps trying to avoid telling his mom why.
Of course. The OP said "it didn't happen." That's what I was responding to.
I have two kids who are in their 20s. They don't have kids. One generation.
College admissions people, make sure you only do tours on nice days.
You are welcome.
He's not from a traditional academic background
I grew up in the 50s/60's. On our block, every dad (save two) was blue collar. Every mom stayed at home (except one). Every family owned their house. Every family sent kids to college if those kids wanted to go.

He was a lab rescue. Sweetest dog I've ever met. Loves everyone he meets.
We adopted our daughter's dog Oscar (a beagle) because he has extreme separation anxiety and can't be left alone; she and her fiancΓ© live in an apartment in Chicago.
We love him to pieces, except when it's 34 degrees, windy, and raining.

QED
I know Advancement and Enrollment people think about the world differently, but this acronym just continues to blow my mind.
Bad: The Dow is tanking
Good: Now that it's under 50,000, maybe Pam Bondi will answer questions about the Epstein Files.
Yes, that's what this is in reaction to
Congrats to the Department of Education who made the IPEDS check boxes red instead of the blue they used to be. #Progress
SAT fans when UCSD releases a report on math placement
I would have thought the people with Ph.Ds in Math and Statistics and Economics might have accounted for this externality.
Best. Ad. Placement. Ever.
In 1904, Mark Twain reminded people that there are two parts to every war prayer: The spoken and the unspoken. www.americanyawp.com/reader/19-am...
I think about this Tony Benn speech much more than I used to
