Some more work with fog, lighting and textures in the first outdoor area. I'm still tweaking a lot to find the right vibe but I think I'm getting where I want. My idea for a demo is to have this area + the first dungeon which is 90% done. But I still need to improve many systems before. Cheers!

Thank you! I added the cross because some people may get dizzy if not, also to aim better with throwable knives or spells like the fireball, but I will put an option so you can disable it if you prefer it that way.

Just a cave from the first game level, I still have to work in lighting and a ton more stuff, but here we are slowly building up this world. I also find that the music I made was too vaporwave and I want something darker so I will discard some tracks and make new ones.

Just a trap I made so you can see detection, reset and also a bit of the enemy physics. This is my test map where I try all my ideas and get things to work before I implement it in the actual levels.
This trap can also hurt the player real hard and apply a bleeding condition, so be careful!

Oh I checked now and see the similarity. Actually we had some iterations with this (my partner who's a designer helped me with this), like the health bar angles flipped, but ended up with this as the other options seemed a bit odd.
It wasn't my intention at any moment to make it too similar.

I made this kind of overlays with some simple animation effects, but I'm not sure if it's necessary to include some UI bar so the player know exactly how much time the condition will remain active. What do you think?

Magic wall spell! This spell allow you to create an arcane wall that will block enemies and projectiles, also you can use it to climb or reach areas that are too far away acting like a sort of bridge.

Awesome! Never played the original games just watched a lot of videos but there also some modern games that are heavily inspired: Lunacid, Verho, Queen's Domain and some more. I'm actually developing another one in the same genre. It's super nice that indie devs are releasing those kind of titles.
