That's been my foremost thought during the protests and now the air strikes. Even though I have more context for the current situation, it still breaks my heart that more people are getting hurt.
The Iranian revolution was the 1st major news story I remember seeing as a kid. I would have been 6. Back then I obviously couldn't know what all it meant, but I knew a lot of people were getting hurt.
