Cons need that money, and as con reg will continue to go up it will inevitably push out the furs who simply can't afford it, which sucks. I do believe there is a pivot within the fandom that is making alternate spaces that don't require that huge capital investment into our spaces, which is cool!

Fur reg is always bitched about being too expensive. As far as fur cons go it's the cheapest reg there is.
It's unfortunate that as soon as cons do raise prices that's all people will talk about, but furs continue to want expensive spaces and fancy con centers. Shit costs money.
