first time in a moege where the protagonist is my favorite character overall, which almost always never happens for me. So that's impressive

the first Sonic fan game I've played in over a decade cuz I'm looking forward to seeing what else is on offer out there. That, and it'll be fun coming back to this game just to improve my times (even if I'm not good at high level Sonic gameplay. Ahaha)
better at, and the amount of playable characters adds a ton of replayability. Definitely coming back to this one every now and then for that reason alone. Also, this game is such a fun reimagining of Sonic 1, theming wise. Overall, I had a blast playing this one, and I'm glad its
8. Sonic Megamix Mania:
For my first real foray into Sonic fan games since Robo Blast 2, I gotta say, I'm impressed. Not one of my all time favorite Sonic games ever, but for what it is, I had a great time. This game had a mostly very nice flow to it that made it fun to get
I can easily see why Sophie 2 is commonly regarded as one of the absolute best in the franchise. If Atelier Totori was the entry that made me a fan, then this game has solidified Atelier as one of my all time favorite franchises in gaming. Absolute peak...
7. Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream:
Depression be damned, this game was awesome. Gameplay was addicting as hell, the story and cast were all well done, and this was everything I wanted out of Sophie sequel in ways I didn't know I want at first. All in all
6. Donkey Kong Country Replay:
I still love this game, man. It's such a good start to the series. And I really appreciate the simplicity of this first game. The more straightforward design and naturalistic environments still makes this one unique. Still a kickass game
Made a mistake a month ago with some of the games I completed, so I moved the entries properly into the thread itself

sweet, and overall a great time. I won't say too much since the game is best played blind, I feel
5. Bad End Theater:
Kind of a fascinating western VN that had quite a bit to say for a 1-2 hour read. Game has a interesting twist on the multiple ending system found in many games, and the game overall was a lot more charming and emotional than I thought it'd be. Simple and
Next Sonic fangame on my radar is Triple Trouble 16-bit. Been really looking forward to seeing what this one was all about since it looks like a really good remake/reimagining of the 8-bit version. So that should be fun

Classic mode was very fun overall, though I do prefer Megamix mode on the whole (I straight up dislike Classic Misty Maze. Lmao). But I'm glad it was included since it gives this already great romhack/mod even more meat on its bones. So I can't be upset about that
It's likely just me and me being bad at the game atm, but Misty Maze in Megamix Mania hasn't really grown on me even with all the runs I've done so far...
Gonna do a classic mode run of Sonic Megamix Mania then I'll give my thoughts on it
this is a mystery visual novel, and I'd rather keep spoilers to a minimum. But despite the slow start, this is picking up for me, and I think it tackles some interesting themes and the urban myth element of the story is quite fascinating to learn as someone unfamiliar with Japanese urban myths
Been reading Urban Myth Dissolution Center for the past week. Forgot to get to this when it came out last year, but its quite interesting so far. The main cast is fun, the story is intriguing, and the presentation is insane. Prolly won't post about it again till I finish given
Had another nightmare during one of my naps. Seems to keep happening a lot more often as of late. Ahaha...
Lmao. I did not mean to get a 1 minute clear on this act. It was pretty accidental on my end
Wait, this is... actually really good. I don't know how this compares to the original Megamix, but this is a great Sonic game thus far, and a very impressive romhack/mod. Definitely want to play more later
as in this game is actually insane, and this is a version of Classic Sonic with the homing attack
Been playing some Sonic Megamix Mania. Great fan game so far, and it's insane this is technically a romhack considering how much work was put into it. I never played the original Megamix, so I'm really impressed
That said, Sonic not even being my 2nd favorite character to play
I want to play a Sonic game yet again soon. But I don't feel like playing Superstars rn, and I'm still trying to avoid playing Lost World for as long as I can
So I think it's finally time to hit the Sonic fan game scene soon. And I already know which one I want to play first ๐
sonic lost world if it had a good story
I wonder if there would be another Nitroplus VN I'll come to love as much as Totono
So far, Cotton Rock with You looks to be more of the same of what makes Cotton Rock n Roll so great... which is fine by me since Rock n Roll is prolly my favorite shump ever. Ahaha
My first was X7, but Starforce 2 is the game that really got me invested in the franchise. And while not perfect, I still look back on it very fondly even with my most recent replay years ago
