We really enjoyed Park Run this Saturday - it was such a successful taster event that Trans Thriving will be doing Park Run once a month going forward!

Join us every last Saturday of the month at Abbey Park, Park Run! Next: Sat 28th Feb (8:45am for a 9am run start)

This is an opportunity for LGBTQ+ charities, community groups, and sports clubs from across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland to meet each other, understand what we each do, and think about how we can support the health & wellbeing of the local LGBTQ+ community.

Remember, HIV can affect anyone, and testing is the only way to know your HIV status.

Over the week, we will be running a series of advice stalls and rapid HIV testing events across the Leicester and Leicestershire

Join our team in Leicester as an HIV Peer Support Worker.

We are looking to recruit someone who has been living well with HIV for at least three years, who can support people who are more recently diagnosed or struggling to stay on treatment.

We are intending to join as a likeminded and supportive group and will be gathering at 8:45am before the run starts at 9am, and will gather near the finish line as people finish also.

All abilities are welcome - run and/or walk. Please note this is a free event which is organised by Park Run and open to the general public and is free for anyone to come and run. If you would like to receive your running time you will need to register with Park Run for free www.parkrun.org.uk

Receiving an HIV diagnosis can often be a shock. Our peer support staff and volunteers have all been there and they are available to offer you practical and emotional support for living well with HIV.
