What Are Glial Cells?
Glial cells, or glia (from "glue"), make up 50% of brain cells, holding the nervous system together and playing key roles:
Support: Neuron structure.
Nutrients: Oxygen/supply.
Myelination: Signal insulation.
Homeostasis: Balance.
Immune: Brain defense.
