A green, three-eyed angelic character with leafy horns, insectoid wings and a small halo of red triangles; two of the three eyes are stitched shut, and the third one is crying profusely. Next to them is text that reads: "WORMWOOD - Starts with four rotten hearts - Red heart pickups have a high chance to be replaced with rotten heart pickups - Only has one eye; roughly 33% chance to proc tear effects that only affect one eye on two-eyed characters - Tears have a bigger hitbox & a faster firing rate, but lower damage & range to start off - Starts with the passive item "Absinthe", which grants a small chance (scaling with luck) for tears to poison enemies and makes you leave green poisoning creep after taking damage for the current room - Enemies that die from poison damage will spawn a "Moth"m a tiny fly-like familiar that deals low contact damage but poisons enemies it touches"
Two variants of the previous character: The one on the left, labeled "Normal", has been charred to ash & soot, and flinches away from a nearby flame with a panicked expression. The one on the right, labeled "Enflamed", has been completely consumed by flame, roaring skyward with incandescent fury as their halo radiates behind them brighter than before. Above them is text that reads: "TAINTED WORMWOOD, "THE ASHEN" - Starts with three black hearts; cannot gain red heart containers & HP ups grant a black heart instead - Starts with the passive item "Bohemian Absinth", which grants a small chance (scaling with luck) for tears to burn enemies - Behaves almost identically to normal Wormwood initially, but becomes Enflamed after: * Taking one heart of damage (two hearts from ch. 4 onwards) * Touching a fire source * Taking contact damage from flaming enemies - Enflamed has flight & immunity to contact damage, and their tears are replaced with a stream of highly damaging flames that rapidly propels them backwards; enemies that touch them while the attack key is held in Enflamed form will be burned - Enflamed timer extends by killing enemies, but the form goes away after defeating a boss - Enemies that die from burn damage regardless of T!Wormwood's form will spawn a "Willo'th", a Willo-like Moth that orbits nearby enemies & fires burning tears at them"
