Has he no notion at all of how stupid he looks? I find it annoying that I feel embarrassed for him when he's not in the least embarrassed for himself.

I remember buying a loaf of bread for elevenpence farthing. I guess it would have been around then - maybe a couple of years earlier.

It would be a mistake to judge by the illustrations. Awdry illustrated his first book (no Thomas!) himself, but not very well, and it was re-illustrated. (I have an original version). There were at least three different illustrators over the whole series, all very copy-able.

Or he's simply just forgotten who Farage is. If true, it's the first time I've craved any similarity with Trump. And, I suspect, the last.

I don't think Farage knows or cares what he is, as long as he can be the centre of attention. Somewhat along Trumpian lines but not (yet?) as evil.

It's his favourite get-out phrase - 'no CREDIBLE information'. Who decides if it's credible or not? Patel, of course. Let us see what you think is 'non-credible' information, Patel, and let us judge for ourselves.
