The bar I used to frequent put up the sports pages on the wall by the urinal so it became a running joke that we were just going to check the cricket scores.
It turned into an actual interest in the sport, but took years before I understood the scoring, and even now, I only kind of understand it.
Is it just me or is he leaning more and more on the “this is happening unlike anything anyone’s ever seen before” line?
It’s always been a go-to for him but it seems like every sentence he utters is some form of that
today at the World Metaphors Classic the leader of the USA didn't bother to find out the details of the situation his team was in and blindly assumed they would win a matchup they ended up losing, jeopardizing their long-term standing for no good reason
I hope Manfred is sweating somewhere this morning at the possibility of all the knockout round games being played in the US and no jingoistic American fans in the crowds.
