This has been on my list for a while. It’s always my aim to draw abandoned or derelict buildings in their prime, not in their current dilapidated state. I like to create a record of how the building once looked.

Bernat Klein Studio in Selkirk designed by Peter Womersley and recently purchased for restoration by a coalition of Scottish Historic Buildings Trust, National Trust for Scotland and Bernat Klein Foundation.

Hi, as far as I know it won’t be demolished. Plans fell through for it recently but looks like it might be getting revived again.

I’m working on a body of work called “Lost Buildings”. Buildings based around Glasgow which have either been demolished or removed. Architecture in memory.

Hopefully this will act as a document of what this building once looked like.

A recent commission for the old Strathclyde Uni Student Union building which is currently being renovated. I always try to draw buildings in their prime rather than their current state.

It’s the 60th anniversary of Glasgow Airport and I’ve illustrated the original design by Basil Spence. Completed in 1966 with distinctive concrete arches which can still be seen from the interior of the current airport. Have a look up at the roof the next time you’re checking in ✈️

A recent illustration of a building where is spent a lot of my time in my youth. Pints of diesel and level 8. Hard to pick a song for this upload as my memories are of the Wonder Stuff and James which I can’t bear to listen to now 😬. Thank god there weren’t any camera phones then 🤣
