He named his company "Palantir" !!!! The unreliable sources of information that are used by the evil powers to spy on the good guys manipulate them. It's like naming a pharmaceutical company "snake oil".

we should make American voters get a tattoo on their arm that says DON'T TRUST THE REPUBLICAN PARTY because otherwise they're basically all that guy from Memento every second election cycle.
This happened after 9/11 with gwb, at just for a little bit.
A lot of people need to go to jail if we have any hope of going back to the status quo ante.
Sounds like a Cake tribute act
Does he think Burke was literally talking about food? Ffs
FT comments section this morning - saying what everyone else is thinking, right?
This doesn't look real. I'm skeptical. 1) the video is supposedly taken whilst someone is walking, but it focuses and zooms in on the spot before the explosion happens. 2) no one walking reacts at all.
Stay tuned for D leadership to support increased funding to the Treasury department to pay for training as part of "tariff reform".
Which goes to show that the media environment is just not set up for this. Journalists have been trained for generations to be neutral arbitrators. But trying to equally criticise both sides is minimizing the unprecedented lies, incompetence, corruption and evil of the Trump regime.
Just saying over and over again that Trump is corrupt, violating democratic and human rights, and a stupid person--which is totally true--doesn't give writers like this a "unique voice" to make their name.
I don't know if this is completely true. The author of this actually ran for office as a democratic socialist. I think part of the issue is that these "brunchlords" (amazing term btw) need to say something "unconventional" to stand out amongst other writers.
Obviously there are vfx that make it way more convincing, I just meant that the subtle "wobble" is more convincing and natural than many actors in films pretending to be weightless -- probably bc they are just expecting to be CGI'd.
Seriously, better than many hollywood films! It was so convincing
Look, if anyone knows anything about being "left behind," it's the architect of the UK's disastrous austerity policies during the Global Financial Crisis and Lost Decade:

A "judicial warrant" is a warrant. If an executive branch agency decides to call a memo an "administrative warrant" they can, but it isn't a warrant in the constitutional sense.
Glancing at the picture, seeing your name and expecting it to be about evidence of some horrendous crime, I'm relieved this is pickled garlic.
CNN homepage: headline says Bondi Democrats trade insults during combative hearing
So grandma, when authoritarianism came, what did the media do?
Well, honey, they framed everything as a battle between two sides, and never actually said one side was undermining the rule of law, damaging institutions, and creating a new Fash Tech Oligarchy™️ that was unaccountable to the people.
Economists have thought about this quite a bit. For example, Keynesian economics, which is nearly 100 years old, is based around the idea that people don't perfectly distinguish between specific and general price changes. There's tons of stuff since then.
Ugh. This gets repeated all the time and it's not at all what they asked. They asked how respondents *would* cover a $1000 emergency. A credit card might be best if you don't have $1000 in cash. They also have options for reducing spending and paying from "regular cash flow".
This is not a distraction.
I think you got OP's intent switched around here. The race laws were not ok, and neither is what's going on now--even if (some portion of) it happens to be "legal".
i have just gotten off a productive call with sauron where i laid out our requests
- nazgul bodycams
- morgul knife must remain sheathed unless suspect is determined to be carrying the one ring
- shelob will be the new point of contact
One armed goon loses his shit at an observer who's backing up, and then several more armed goons tackle the observer to the ground, and then even more armed goons form a protective shield around the armed goons handcuffing the observer for hurting an armed goon's feelings.
This can't be "reformed"
It's the combination: the coat, haircut, Sam Brown belt...
The first time Charlie Chaplin spoke onscreen, he implored the people of the world to resist the rising tide of fascism.
Nearly 90 years later, it remains a timely message.
If you see other pictures, it's obvious that they're wearing whatever they think looks cool. Besides the tactical vests, they appear to be allowed to wear whatever they want.
Walz: "We're no longer having a political debate. We're having a moral debate."
Articles of impeachment for Trump every time he does something impeachable, whether that means new articles every month or every week.
