I spent 4 months trying to answer a simple question: has this book been translated into my language?
Turns out no one tracks this. Not ISBN registries. Not Amazon. Not Google. Not libraries.
So I built a tool that crosses four databases to piece it together.

You too!!
Interviewer: You might be able to catch some. It's all completely virtual. It's very simple, but it's also an overlay of physically based information that now exists on top of the real world. Herzog: When two persons in search of a pokΓ©mon clash at the corner of Sunset and San Vicente is there violence? Is there murder? Interviewer: They do fight, virtually. Herzog: Physically, do they fight? Interviewer: No- Herzog: Do they bite each other's hands? Do they punch each other?
Happy 30th birthday to PokΓ©mon. Without it, the greatest Werner Herzog quote of all time would not exist.
As a member of the WHAI, and as someone who was part of the advisory committee who recommended a womenβs museum - I am delighted with this response from my WHAI colleagues #womensmuseumireland
Hyperlink text should make sense when read out of context. Screen reader users can navigate from link to link, and can listen to links in a list. When navigating this way, only the link is read. So "click here" or "read more" won't make sense.
The scholarly commons is a shared enterprise as much as a shared resource - open research has to be seen beyond compliance as a recipe for decolonisation

Siddharth Soni speaks to AI & Data colonialism: Big Tech companies grabbing our data exploiting our labour & connections, & repackaging our information to control our views, track our movements, record our conversations and discriminate against us. cf. www.lse.ac.uk/lse-player/w... #CopimConference
Iβd hope so!!
Likens the βtranslationβ (such as it was) of logainmneacha to GenAI in scholarly publishing: often inaccurate, vulgar, hallucinated. #CopimConference
