Think you can call it?
Well you aren't him and you read what I said. So I guess it had the effect I intended, and wasn't pointless 🙂
That's kind of my point - it's an extremely progressive area. So plenty of people who will like the Greens. And Labour could lose to them in similar places. (In a by-election where Greens are able to adequately target it which plays a big factor)
But areas with a different profile? Very different.
⚠️ Breaking news! ⚠️ Our exclusive new poll carried out by Opinium for Forward Democracy and Byline Times shows that tactical voting can stop Reform in Gorton and Denton with the Green Party's Hannah Spencer the clear tactical choice.
bylinetimes.com/2026/02/24/e...
Important not to get carried away. Just because they're the best choice *here* doesn't mean they're the best choice *everywhere*. The G&D demographic is very friendly to the Greens - in other constituencies it's not. I know you aren't saying otherwise, but still worth pointing out for those reading

AI generated Rishi Sunak holding a mask of Nigel Farage
And Suella Braverman makes it... 5 out of 8 Reform MPs now that are ex Tory MPs from the last government.
There's no doubt Reform will stand there and say "the last Tory government damaged Britain, vote for us instead - we're change, we're different!"
...and they're LITERALLY the same people 🙃
It makes it clear that the results of climate change are "highly likely" to pose a national security risk.
Biodiversity loss is described as "a global threat" and states "a sixth mass extinction may be underway".
If we end up competing for food and water, the UK is not in a good position to do so.
The UK government has released an assessment on "global biodiversity loss, ecosystem collapse and national security"
It's horrifying.
Crop failures, conflict, water insecurity, storms, floods, poverty, pollution, crime, disease.
"Every critical ecosystem is on a pathway to collapse"
@fantasyparliament.bsky.social what time do the scores update?
This shouldn't be controversial, yet on certain social media platforms it attracts a ridiculous number of bots, trolls, and other obvious signs of an intentionally manufactured hostile environment. Let's see if Bsky differs.

When left to their own devices, people often check previous results to figure out the tactical vote for themselves. This couldn't have happened here! It was the independent advice from StopReformUK.vote, backed by a Survation poll, that empowered Caerphilly to vote tactically and keep out Reform.
It's widely agreed that there was tactical voting.
But when multiple parties claim to be the tactical vote, how do people know which way to go?
StopReformUK.vote/senedd/caerphilly is how.
Look at previous results and then today's. There was no way people could have united without independent advice!

I guess if you don't care about Reform candidates frequently caught sharing extremely racist views then sure, they're not a bigger threat. In your opinion. But I doubt that's your opinion I assume you care about that. So I don't understand why you think Labour are as bad "if not worse"
Labour is NOT as much of a threat as Reform. That's wildly untrue. You don't have to like Labour, or agree with everything they do (I don't!) but Reform and MUCH worse. By far. It's not even close.
Don't vote Labour if you don't want to. But don't lie that they're as bad as Reform.
