Calm has basically pivoted their business model to charging companies for group subscriptions that nobody uses but allows the company to say ‘mental health and wellbeing support is very important to us’ in job ads.

For context, he’s now moved on to ranting about how the Biden admin oversaw the highest inflation in history, then gets into a discussion with himself about how it was actually 48 years (it was 41) before settling on it being the highest in history.

I mean God we all have our priors and blind spots but this is on quite a scale. A lot of the ‘but why did nobody say anything?’ questions I had in a lot of history classes have been answered in the last decade or so.
