Same here. I thought I'd have a little more time to decide on a hotel since there are 22 of them, but I wasn't considering the size of the hotels. FWA has like 6 or 7 hotels, but the main hotels are HUGE.

I think it'd be a good idea to require a one-night deposit on the room when making the reservation like they do for FWA. That'd make it less likely that people would hold onto rooms "just in case" and then cancel later. Or maybe I'm just biased because I was able to get a room for FWA and not for AC

What do you even do if you register for Anthrocon and can't get a room in the room block? I'm gonna keep checking the website in case some people cancel their reservations, but if I don't end up getting a room am I just out the $80 for con registration?
