So it appears to be a Clarkson fan account, not actually him. Hard to tell on Twitter these days when everyone's paying the wanker tax (blue tick).

I'll settle for reading the news.
I'm so relieved these celebs have scored book deals. I was worrying about how they'd cope with just their movies and presenting jobs.
The fury I feel when I see someone writing in a national newspaper about what I consider to be one of my pet subjects knows no bounds.
I do have a weird soft spot for Dr Druid though.
"Sorry! That was meant to be a bunch of publication day flowers!"
Not necessarily.
Imagine you did an unboxing video except it wasn't copies of your book but the severed head of a loved one.
I hope so! There's plenty of material now.
Panel from HERNE & SHUCK in 2000AD Prog 2473
It's @2000ad.bsky.social day, and the finale of HERNE & SHUCK: POWER TRIP in Prog 2473. Fear not, though, because the gang will return later this year.
Popped over to Twitter. First thing I saw was an AI video posted by Jeremy Clarkson of him beating up Keir Starmer in front of a baying mob. In case you were wondering how things are going over there.
One week to go to see if a new independent news outlet for Leeds and West Yorkshire will actually happen - if you'd like to see it and haven't yet pledged support for @leedsnewlocalpaper.bsky.social, please consider doing so.

Thank you! How the devil are you?
Amazing how all those six-figure deals were inked in the first couple of hours of London Book Fair.
Except, of course, they weren't. Whatever you do, don't feel crap because you're not an LBF darling. Most of this stuff was sorted out months ago and the announcements saved for this week.
A publisher is seriously looking at a comics passion project. It might amount to nothing but if you have good vibes lying around doing nothing, please do send them into the universe.
NOW LAUNCHED!!

Scratch Moss by David Barnett
Thank you to everyone whoโs read, reviewed, bought or borrowed SCRATCH MOSS, since its release on Thursday, and all those who came to see me last night in Holmfirth. It truly is appreciated.
Now out from @canelobooks.bsky.social is @davidmbarnett.bsky.social's SCRATCH MOSS. @jonezyboy.bsky.social says it's "...surely one of the outstanding releases of 2026." #booksky #amreading #amreadinghorror

Or vice versa?
He wrote unapologetically in third person past tense, but sometimes I write in first person present tense when the story demands it.

SCRATCH MOSS is the #2 bestseller in British Horror Fiction on Kindle... so close to that orange bestseller flag!
Right!?
I think people would have more truck with the House of Lords if we started to refer to them more often by their proper designations of the Lords Temporal and the Lords Spiritual, which is very 70s Moorcock.

Have just bought myself a copy of Scratch Moss by @davidmbarnett.bsky.social
His first two folk horror books have been outstanding so I'm expecting a lot from the 3rd book in the collection. Would definitely recommend to everyone.
