Ever since someone pointed out that the store gets to write off whatever I donate at the point of sale (but I don't), it's been a "hell no" from me. Don't guilt me into laundering a corporation's money for them.
And this is not the original, or even primary, reason for engaging in such evil, but by default, it creates another layer of it here: actively helping gouging pharma corps make more money by insisting on biologics [or nothing at all, in which case they're fine with you dying.]
The majority of mine are "off-label." Because meds often work on many different things, and if you have one of those intractable conditions like multiple autoimmune disease? Unless you can afford $9k-16K a month for biologics, EVERYTHING'S "off-label."
