A new chapter starts as I am joining @icp-csic.bsky.social through the CΓ©sar Nombela fellowship (AtracciΓ³n de Talento Programme) to continue working on MOFs! πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Έ

I’m so excited to develop my research ideas in a new and inspiring environment. More updates should follow soon!

I am particularly excited to represent IFIMAC and grow my involvement within the chemistry and MOF communities in Spain, a country that has already become my new home.❀️

Please feel free to reach out and discuss if you think our research interests could align! (2/3)

Some big personal news I can finally share: in November I am starting a new position as Junior Group Leader at the @ifimacuam.bsky.social center in Madrid.

This is a dream come true in so many ways, and I can't wait to explore potential new projects, opportunities and collaborations. (1/3)

Understanding Structural Dynamics in Flexible Rare‐Earth Metal‐Organic Frameworks Flexible rare-earth (RE) based MOFs is an emerging class of functional porous materials that show intriguing gas/vapor sorption properties. Latest developments demonstrate that reticular chemistry ca...

Very happy to have contributed to a recent Concept article on the structural behaviour of flexible metal-organic frameworks based on rare-earth elements! #EurJIC @chemistryeurope.bsky.social

Accessing mixed cluster rare-earth MOFs with reduced connectivity via linker expansion and desymmetrization: co-assembly of 6-c and 10-c hexanuclear clusters in RE-stc-MOF-1 MOFs based on hexanuclear rare-earth (RE) clusters with reduced connectivity (<12) are rare. The co-assembly of RE clusters with distinct reduced connectivity provides access to novel structures. We r...

Rare-earth MOF chemistry is always fascinating, especially using reduced symmetry linkers!

Our latest work in Journal of Materials Chemistry C introduces new porous frameworks based on hexanuclear clusters of mixed connectivity. Congrats to all authors!
