Can they encourage him to go live in the sea? York have wanted rid of him as their Duke for years, now but it turns out they only care about themselves. Colour me shocked.

He doesn’t give a flying fuck about women and girls it’s all performative dog whistling. I note he wasn’t there for the vote to decriminalise abortion and four of his mps (is that all of them?) voted to keep the law.

My new one is so extra. It’s at my mums in Scarborough. I’m on my boat currently in S Yorkshire. It has already asked me twice today to update it’s software. Yeah but no.

It’s already happening, isn’t it? I mean, try buying sardines. The likes of Cadbury quietly removing cocoa from their products, my mother complaining that she can’t get her 85% cocoa dark chocolate in Aldi. That I can’t guarantee the supermarket will have any bananas.

Everything sounds like it came out of a padded, textile, toddlers book.

It’s CRT owned-hard to say if they have permission, lots of CRT workers about because theres a decent boater services and moorings here. But the big sprinkler hose things were still pouring onto the fields when I went to bed.

Theres a farmer pumping water out of this pound to irrigate. We’re on a commercial canal and this is a long pound but I’m sure you can’t just do this. The pump went all night. We grounded and now we’re afloat again.

I love these, they’re so magical. I recall exploring a small ait on the River Thames, I walked into this tree surrounded (and full of nettles) clearing and hundreds of them rose out of the nettles. It was incredible.

It’s all the more ridiculous when you consider that Loughborough is walkable and could be termed a 15 min city.

I knew instantly what that was! 🀌🀌🀌

And thank you to you also, I would have no idea what was going on there otherwise.

That sounds a little like timed design tests, because yes our portfolios are stolen and it’s the only way to see if they can actually sketch.

I feel seen, I’ve finished work at 3am every day this week and same.

So they won't be accountable to the Supreme Court. Their official social media is openly mocking the concerns of American voters. This doesn't seem like the behaviour of a regime that is planning to hold free and fair elections.

She’s the loser in this. Imagine wasting the rest of your life, being hateful on Twitter. Imagine the writing and the good things she could’ve done instead. All that time wasted and gone. Can never get it back!

Time to go outside and do something less boring instead.

Everyone air freights their production, sometimes, to meet delivery dates, it isn’t illegal.

I was lucky when I had a London mooring, didn’t pay too much for years until I did and then I left. A friend lived at Cumberland basin, that’s the most expensive one and she had to leave too.

It’s a cash premium for the grandfather rights for the mooring, they take their nice boat off, sell that separately and then put a wreck on there so they can transfer the mooring for £££. It’s a bit of a risk but if you then decide you want to move on you can do the same.

Yep. My FIL drove into a tree, spent a month in ICU, 3 further months in hospital and was discharged to a nursing home. If they 25thed Gramps they could divert to nursing home but he’s already crashed the economy into a tree and there’s worse to come.

You’re talking about setting up a tiny old fashion workroom. The factories making for the USA, in China and Vietnam are completely different and far from just sewing machines, they now use a lot of technology, pattern cutting is digital. We’re talking several hundreds of dollars into the millions.

03.04.2025 22:07 πŸ‘ 2 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

More than four years to set up again. Not just sewing machines you need. Who fixes them? They break and need servicing. What about the supply chain? Textiles, thread, buttons. You can’t begin until you have trained labour. Who trains them?

Oh no sympathies, we had β€˜sink orzo’ last night, I wanted to cry. I made pan fried cod and samphire and dropped the orzo in the sink when draining it. We still ate it, but yeah. 😞

Does she think she’s being sassy? Because she’s giving β€˜about to be thrown out of the pub’ energy.

He’s looking older and coming across more confused than ever. He’s clearly struggling, it’s showing through the orange makeup more than ever.

Is it just me that worries about the fact that surely (esp in London & SE) we're soon going to see increasing numbers of older people who can no longer carry on working, but due to renting at market rates their whole lives won't have been able to save enough pension to afford *anywhere* to live?

1 month after the end of our equalities adjustment we’re overstaying. Bah! Alternator borked. Took a broken spare to the repairer (aka the alternator final boss), realised that the one on the engine is slightly longer, he’s now got both and I HOPE he remembers which one is correct. Because:
