The sad thing is that often, even when help is offered by family or friends to someone with me/cfs or fibromyalgia, it's accompanied by abuse, disrespect, domination, and bad treatment. The consequence is the need to refuse that help to remain at least free even if very unwell.

From talking to friends I can observe that every time a war of aggression starts... Ukraine... now Iran etc... people feel the permission to be horrible to innocent others as if malignant narcissism is suddenly the norm and ok. The dates of incidents match. Have you not observed it?

Bullying

Since when good work counts for nothing in a job... and the social aspect of it ..... saying yes to everything and being a doormat is what is rewarded?

Cost of living crisis protects workplace bullying.
Rent and mortgages are so high that it is much more difficult to leave and move somewhere else as people would have done in the past.

There's nothing more sad than being chronically ill and pushing yourself to dangerous limits to continue working and only having to use sick leave due to bullying or discrimination. This is maximum betrayal.

Some people spend 100% of their life sober because they know that if they would allow any alcohol at all, they would never stop.
Some lives are very hard and will power has a limit.
