I'm actively in survival mode irl and essentially offline, but as someone who's literally from and in the Middle East: shut the fuck up. Every single day, I see Palestinian families torn apart. My family and friends support them financially, emotionally, and physically. Our family doctor performs life-saving surgery for Palestinian refugees almost every other day, pro bono. Many of them still have family back home who are either dead or starving. Palestine has been in my heart and in my blood since before any of you could find it on a map. If you're out here cherry-picking and hyperbolising non-issues to vilify normal people going about their days while actively ignoring the people actively advocating for genocide, SA, and the murder of children, then you don't understand what an existential issue is.
Frankly, I don't expect most White people to understand what an existential issue looks like nor how to respond to it, but here's a hint: it's not by being a dickhead on the internet. Congratulations: you've benefited no one but yourself, all while waving watermelon emojis in your bios: symbols you only discovered in October 2023. Stop acting like you know shit about supporting Palestine, and learn from the people who've been doing it for literal decades. Being an asshole on the internet over innocent oversights doesn't help Palestine. Donations, E-Sims, supporting refugees, raising awareness, lobbying your politicians, protesting, boycotting companies and institutions, doing your homework and research to educate yourself, fighting Islamophobia and anti-Arab racism-all of these are infinitely better uses of your time than being an ass.
Stop cheapening the Zionist label by tossing it around like a buzz word.
Palestine deserves better than whatever White people think support looks like.
